Job purpose
The Finance Intern will support the finance team in daily accounting, reporting, and administrative tasks. This role is designed to provide practical exposure to financial operations, budgeting, and compliance while developing analytical and professional skills. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an honors student.

Education
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks, including data entry and record keeping
• Support accounts payable and receivable processes
• Help reconcile bank statements and financial discrepancies
• Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities
• Analyze financial data and identify trends or variances
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
• Assist in filing invoices, receipts, and financial statements
• Support audit preparation and compliance checks

Skills & Competencies

• Basic understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, spreadsheets, data analysis)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
