Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, NDAs, and correspondence
Conduct legal research and prepare summaries or memos on relevant legislation, case law, and regulatory changes
Assist in managing legal files, case management systems, and maintaining accurate records
Support the legal team in preparing documentation for court filings, hearings, and internal investigations
Liaise with internal departments and external counsel to coordinate legal matters
Track deadlines and follow up on legal tasks to ensure timely completion
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to compliance and regulatory standards
Contribute to the preparation and delivery of legal training or internal briefings
Requirements:
A law degree (LLB or equivalent) from an accredited university
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent research and analytical capabilities
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to tight deadlines
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal management systems is a plus
A strong interest in pursuing a legal career, ideally with a view to qualifying as a solicitor or legal executive
