SGX Logistics invites you to join our Accounts Receivable team for an enriching work experience opportunity (12 months). This role is designed for individuals with a strong desire to learn and grow, contributing to the vital function of administering the collection of monies within the FMCG Trade.

Main Responsibilities:

As a valuable member of our Accounts Receivable team, your journey will involve hands-on experience, continuous learning, creative problem-solving, and innovative process improvement. Additionally, you will be at the forefront of leveraging technology to enhance efficiency within the Accounts Receivable function. All elements of the role will be covered within the 12 months of the work experience programme, with the end goal of better equipping you for the world of work.

Main responsibilities include:

• Managing aspects of debtor accounts including
• Processing of claims
• Investigating and authorization of claims
• Allocating remittances
• Reconciling debtor accounts
• Submitting statements
• Dealing with queries
• Liaising with Principals and stakeholders on an ongoing basis

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Excel.
• No prior experience is required.
• Must be a South African citizen or have a valid work permit.
• Must be able to commit to 12 months.

Job Type & Contract Length:

Successful graduates will be expected to enter a 12-month contract. There is no guarantee of continued employment beyond this, but applicants are invited to apply for any permanent roles that arise during their time with us and will be considered amongst all other internal and external applicants (adverts are sent out internally via email).  

Remuneration:

• R4 700 per month (Note that this is a stipend because the role is a work experience opportunity. It is intended to help cover living expenses while you learn with us).
